Baby JoJo: On the countdown!

37 weeks

We are down to 17 days until JoJo is due to arrive! As of last week, I was 2cm dilated and 50% effaced and starting to have small contractions. We couldn't help but feel excited about this news, but we also realize this could be the case for weeks so we are trying not to get too anxious. Whether it be days or still a few weeks, JoJo is certainly gearing up to enter this world soon! Nights are quite restless now and my walk is certainly a waddle - I am ready for this baby to be here! We had a very nice Thanksgiving here in Seattle with our immediate family along with the Harrison/Johnson/Zimmerman clan. Nikki and Michael hosted a wonderful dinner! My mom has been here the last week and has been a huge help with last minute "to dos" in preparation for the holidays and baby, and as I try to wrap up work responsibilities before beginning maternity leave. She rubs my tummy every day and says, "Come out and play JoJo!" So, we are ALL ready for him/her to be here. We will certainly keep you posted in the days to come!
